After 40+ individual meetings and over 200 surveys this is an overview of the finding in downtown Middletown and suggestions on ways we can improve. This is an unbiased look at our downtown is its current state.

"The City of Middletown and Downtown Middletown Inc. were recipients of a service grant funded by Heritage Ohio, to conduct the Downtown Middletown Revitalization Road Map Project.

The project took place over three days – starting on Wednesday November 16th, and concluded on Friday November 18th, 2022.

The Road Map Project was lead by the consulting firm DT Redevelopment Services (DRS). Over the course of the three days DTRS conducted a series of brief one-on-one meetings with community stakeholders.

The final product is a concise report aka “The Map”, which will contain concise recommendations, and implementation actions to be taken by the City over the next 5 – 7 years.

With this information we can build our development readiness process, and begin to actively market our many downtown opportunities."
